Traffic Advisory

Mrs. Oura Tavares wanted to pass along this information regarding traffic disruptions:

Temporary road closures and construction activities
scheduled for Upcountry and Central Maui areas

As part of Sempra U.S. Gas Si Povver’s commitment to keep the community informed as
construction on Auvvahi Wind progresses  motorists are advised that the following activities
are taking place in the Upcountry and Central Maui areas, which may impact drive times:

- Please expect ongoing temporary road closures alohg Upcouhtry Pi`ilahi Highway (Route
31) just after mile marker 16 to the Auwahi Wind project site (near mile marker ZO) due to
highway improvements. Throughout the week and on weekends, the highway will be inter-
mìttently closed for approximately 30 minutes between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Extended
delays are also possible due to unforeseen circumstances. Electronic notification boards
nave been placed along the highway to inform motorists of the closures ahead. Highway
improvements are expected to be complete in early August.

 Large trucks carrying construction materials and equipment are traveling on Kula Highway
and Upcountry  Highway to the Auvvahi Wind project site Monday through Saturday
from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Every effort vvill be made to avoid transport in the vicinity of
Upcountry schools during drop­oft and  times once the fall semester begins.

Upcountry Pi`iIani Highway improvements are being made to accommodate the large semi-
trucks that are scheduled to transport “super  of wind turbine components to the
Auvvani Wind site in August.
