Please help sell School Kine Cookies!

This week our School Kine Cookie Sales fundraiser began.

There are four types of cookies:

• Brownie Crunch
• Chocolate Haupia
• Shortbread
• Taro Toffee

A bag of cookies is $7. 

The top seller will receive $60 in Harvest Fest scrips.  The second top seller $40 in Harvest Fest scrips.

10 Lucky Drawing Winners will each receive $20 in Harvest Fest Scrip. Names will be entered once for every 20 tickets sold.

Sales run from October 9 - October 23.  Pickup is on November 17th at the Kula School Harvest Festival.

Proceeds go to fund PE Teachers, art, music and other programs at Kula Elementary School.

Playground Supervision Help Needed

Recess supervision help needed! If you are available from 9am - 9:45 am and/or 11:00a - 12:30 pm, please contact Nikki Janssen for more information.

Teachers would love more eyes and ears when the students are out at recess.

Parent-Teacher Conferences Coming Up

Parent-Teacher Conferences will run from October 17 - 23.  School ends at 1:00pm, except Wednesday which will end at the normal time at 1:15pm...buses will depart at 1:07pm except on Wed and except for Ulupalakua/Kanaio bus which will leave at the normal time everyday.

Also, our PTA Board Meeting is on 10/9, 6:30 pm.  We are scheduled to meet on the second Tuesday of the month in the library.

Reminders about Kula School events: 

What: Book Swap Family Night 

When: Wednesday September 26th 

Where: Kula School Cafeteria 

Time: 6:00p.m.-7:30p.m. 

Books will sell for 25cents each. Invite your family and friends and enjoy a fun community event while stocking up for Fall Break reading!

Maui Fair Horticulture Contest 

Everyone is invited to submit entries of their favorite home grown vegetables, fruits, nuts, and flowers. 

Entry forms available at the office. 

Drop off your entries at Kula School on Thursday Sept. 27th between 7:15-8:00 a.m.by the cafeteria. School Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  Enter and support our school!
