Through the tremendous effort of our parents, teachers and staff, and community friends - like you, our events raise essential funds to provide students with our PTA funded programs including art, music, drama, afterschool programs and physical education.

 

With the continuing dramatic cuts in state and federal funding for education, we need your support more than ever. At present the PTA funds over $40,000 annually to provide these enrichment classes for our keiki.

School Kine Cookie Fundraiser ENDS Sept 17th

Kula PTA has kicked off its annual School Kine Cookie Sale this week.

Envelopes with tickets went home with students so be sure to ask your co-workers, friends and family to support Kula School AND enjoy delicious cookies.

The cookies make great thank you gifts, pie crusts (Ask PCNC Nikki for her recipe),  and weekend treats.

This is our second biggest fundraiser every year, and it offers a great opportunity to earn prizes.  This year, the prizes include:

• iPad Mini
• iPod
• Nintendo 3DS
• 32" Samsung TV
• up to $250 Cash and More...

Kula School is Reaching Out For Donation-less Support

Kula School is asking for help from the community, without asking for donations.  We could really use your support.

Our school has developed a fundraiser at www.KulaPTAStore.com that doesn't burden our supporters.  It gives the community and local businesses the opportunity to save time and money, while supporting our school.  Please help us make this fundraiser a win-win!

We are asking Hawaii residents and businesses to simply take a moment to list some non-perishable items that are purchased regularly.  

Then go to www.KulaPTAStore.com and Search for the items there (via Amazon box).  If you can make a purchase at Kula PTA Store, our school will benefit with a percentage of the proceeds.  Often FREE shipping is available.

What does your family or business need to purchase that could be redirected to KulaPTAStore to help educate our students?  

Your purchase can help fund Music, Art and PE at Kula Elementary School and hundreds of students will benefit from this simple switch.

Welcome Back Kula School Parents & Supporters

Aloha friends,

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! We are looking forward to a great year for our children and a great year for the PTA.

There are several important items to share with you.

AUG 20, 2013 Tues 5:30 pm 

Monthly PTA meetings will be on the third Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7pm in the school library. The first PTA meeting is Tuesday, August 20, 2013. At that meeting we will finalize the list of voting board members for this school year. Please attend and bring your friends. The PTA calendar can be viewed here.

PTA MEMBERSHIP

 Our new website is set up for online membership sign-up or renewal. Complete the online form and pay by credit card or PayPal.

PTA NEWSLETTER SIGN UPS

The newsletter is separate from the PTA membership--we just need a name and email address and you don't have to join the PTA to receive it.

The PTA is creating an E-newsletter using a service called MailChimp. We will continue our PTA blog at  but will now start sending e-newsletters once or twice a month. Please subscribe to this newsletter. 

Many thanks in advance for any time you can contribute to the PTA during these first few weeks of school--this is the time for us to build our volunteer base and we cannot do it without you!
